“Let’s get ready to rumble”….. for the second white collar boxing event held by the LWCBA. Tonight over the course of 5 hours or so, 16 fighters who have trained for at least 12 weeks to come together to fight it out in the ring. I was very excited to have the opportunity to cover the event. After a quick briefing from Grant, it was my role to photograph the event to capture the fights, boxers, crowd and atmosphere. Loved every second. I wanted my photographs to capture the emotion of the night. These fighters were in the zone, focused, ready for three rounds of 2 mins. Who knew 6 mins could feel so long (worse when you are in the ring on the receiving end to a left hook, or right upper cut). The night was also helping to raise money for Haven House.
