I am working on building my portrait portfolio, which meant last weekend roping in the family to help. My brother and sister, two of the most important people in my life whom I love to the moon and back where my models. What a laugh we had. They are both amazing, the photos shot worked really well. I was playing with my studio set up – Elinchrom D-Lite 4 RX lights with soft boxes & Canon 5d III with 24-70mm lens. These lights are amazing.
I was playing with the lights to give me a high contrast and slightly overexposed image, which gave a more modern / edgy feel to the photos. It also helped to hide the fact Nick’s shirt wasn’t ironed :). My sister is gorgeous – I am bias of course but she looks amazing. The end results came out so much better than I had hoped for.
